May 25th, 2017 (0.0.0.0) Vivienne Hiscock from Delisle, Saskatchewan ... Jim, Meagan, Katie, Afton and your families. I am so sorry to hear about Ann's passing. I wish you all peace and comfort knowing you have many people praying for you, and some wonderful memories to cherish. I am honoured to have known Ann. She always had a smile, a welcome for everyone and freely offered her friendship. I first met Ann many years ago when she was just starting on the wonderful Sheltie trail. Our children were all very small then, in fact Afton hadn't even been born. I remember your family sharing meals with us in our home near Brandon, and visiting your home and talking, talking and yes more talking. We shared Sheltie stories, children stories and whatever topic happened to come up. For a few years we had only occasional contact with each other by phone. My dog showing took second place to my children showing horses, and of course their shows were always on weekends too. Last May Ann and I reconnected at the dog show in Saskatoon, and thanks to Facebook, have had much more frequent contact this past year. Rest in Peace Ann. May God protect the whole family and keep you in his loving arms. Love and hugs to you all. God Bless. |
